A cheap quote usually saves money in the places you can't see. You pay for it later.
- The frame underneath. Budget decks sit on timber frames that can rot and attract termites. I build on an aluminium subframe that won't.
- The boards. Cheap boards fade, splinter and need oiling every year. Composite keeps its look with a simple wash.
- The roof. A tin pergola roof is an oven in summer and a drum in the rain. Insulated panels keep it cool and quiet.
- The crew. The lowest quote often means a subbie crew rushing to the next job. I'm on site for every build.
